The Finca

Finca La Amistad is a small and sustainable 95-hectare farm in the north of Costa Rica, a country of which 20 percent is covered by protected rain forests. We use 50 hectares to grow Trinitario cacao, and another 8 hectares for the reforestation of indigenous hardwoods.  The farming of organic vanilla is still in the development phase.

The farm operates on the principle of sustainability as we are convinced that only a holistic approach can be profitable in the long run. Our business is based on the best quality, fair working conditions, the responsible use of natural resources, and longstanding partnerships built on mutual trust.
